SARASWATHI

The name "Saraswati" means "possessing water" from Sanskrit. सरस् (saras) meaning fluid, water, lake" and वती (vati) meaning "having". This is the name of a Hindu river goddess, also associated with learning and the arts, who is the wife of Brahma.

Saraswati is the most powerful goddess of study and knowledge. worshipping goddess saraswati brings you more knowledge as she is considered to be the personification of arts, science and other skills. She is the consort of Lord Brahma. Describing her four hands, she has lotus in one hand symbolising true knowledge. On the other hand she plays veena, musical instrument. She is dressed in white, the symbol of purity seated on a white swan.
